condolances to you and your family, I just went thru it with my wife's mother who passed away at the end of January. Wife still taking it hard.. so you take care and will be in our prayers

Sorry for your loss David. These are times that we all face eventually. As we age, we come to realize that death is no stranger than birth. It too is a part of life.

My mother died at the age of 63, so I know a little how you feel, David. Before she died, when things were rough (cancer), she told me she was proud of me. I replied that she was mostly responsible for the way I turned out (single mom till I was 13). I think it made her feel good.

It sounds like your mother was an important part of your life and that the traits of hers you mentioned seem to resemble your personality, too.
