BSG Fleet (Download)
I posted some images I made a while back but never got around to showing any one over on SE.net. If you enjoy Battlestar Galactica, original series, then take a look. Here is the link.
Opinions welcome.

Re: BSG Fleet (new)
I posted on SE Net and feel that the battlestars are self contained ships and not fleet elements. They are their own escorts and project their firepower through the Vipers. To put them in SEIV you'll need to create ships as fleet elements. The second ship from the top appears to fit as a basic design of other fleet elements and support ships.

Re: BSG Fleet (new)
Thanks Xrati, that is a very good point. I don't know how I am going to tackle this one yet. I might just make a standard set and let people choose how they want to use the ships. Really the only way to use this set the way it is used in the shows is to create a mod for it.

Actually those are ships that have already been designed. Not sure of the class names though.

Re: BSG Fleet (new)
You could shorten the nose section and narrow mid section leaving the engines as need for ship class. So it would look like the 2nd pic, but with a smaller nose, thin mid section and whatever amount of engines you think would accommodate the class. Just like the Federation ships are all from a base concept of saucer section, main body (mid ship) section and warp nacelles.
In an actual concept of that fleet, I would think that the escorts would carry fighters that would act as the CAP while a strike force of Vipers was on an attack run. So all the ships in the fleet might have some capacity to launch or recover vipers for refuel or repair purposes.

Re: BSG Fleet (new)
I can see this fleet being usable in the Carrier Battles Mod, but not too many other places. Unless you just like the looks of the ships and wanna use them for your race of course. They certainly are beautiful and well made as usual!
What would be ideal of course, would be SJ writing a combination of Pirates and Nomads and CBM.

Ooh... yeah... nomads with carriers... fits BSG perfectly
SJ do it! Do it! Add pirates and nomads to CB! You know you want to!

Just make sure you include those flying motorcycles for one of the troop vehicles...
...the super kids as infantry might work too.
