I played a game where the EEE were the leaders. Yes, they were bigger than ME, the sole human in the game! They actually triggered Mege Evil Empire!

And when relations with them started to get sticky they started sending cloaked Planet Destroyers and Sun Destroyers through the warp points into my systems! I was prepared, fortunately. Lots of defenses and level 3 tachyon sensors already in place.

If they had been just a bit smarter, like opened new warp points and then sent the Sun Destroyers in by that route, it might have been a really tough situation.
I've seen the AI build lots of other Stellar Manipulations ships, but only rarely do they seem to use them. And sometimes when they do they get the order mixed up. These same EEE were trying to use "Create Sun" in a Nebula system before they had used "Destroy Nebula" for example. I've seen them close off warp points once or twice but never open them.
