Any one remember that horrid series from 87 "war of the worlds?"

OMG that series was so fantastically bad that it took the word bad to new lows. These previews remind me of that series.

It seems the phrase "War of the Worlds" has been almost completely ripped of its original meaning as the title of a book (H.G. Wells, I believe) and a 1930s? one-time radio boradcast.....
