Help with demo
I've just found out about Starfury and have been playing it for about 2 days. Game is like crack with a keyboard!
I've gotten a few missions done for my contact at Freeport and he sent me to Pakulon to take out all Amankrie (sp?) ships I find there. Well, I found LOTS and they were all gonna whup up on my Destroyer I so I boogied out and figured I'd come back later. Now, with the exception of once finding a freighter, I can't find ANY of their ships in the system. Been back many times, upgraded my sensors out to the best I can find, cruised the block a few times but still nothing.
Any suggestions? Do I just need to keep leaving and reentering the system to refresh the ships present?
Thanks!

Re: Help with demo
Is there some way to edit one of the files to either signify that the task has been completed or to reset to the point before getting job of wiping out the Amonkrie ships in Pakulon?

Re: Help with demo
There are cheat codes to do the same thing..search the forum and you'll find them.
What happened is a bug in Starfury- if a mission spawns enemies in a system, and you leave the system, the enemies will disappear never to return.

Re: Help with demo
I have tried using the cheat codes but they might be disabled in the demo. Unless I find out different, I guess I'm starting the game over again.
Thanks for the help, Phoenix-D!

Re: Help with demo
I don't remember if codes are on or off in the demo... sucks that you have to restart. Try cheating to get back the money you had (earning money is tough sometimes!)

The two will hover, spinning inches above the ground. With a giant buttered cat array, a high-speed monorail could easily link New York with Chicago.

Re: Help with demo
Well, I did cheat by altering the game file to allow me to purchase a Cruiser III for 6 credits. So I sold off my original ship, refitted the Mk III and was able to finish the game. Can't wait for my full Version to arrive in the mail.

Re: Help with demo
hi. I had the same problem and chatted for a while with Aron. he said that this was a problem in the demo, but that it would be fixed with the next Version. So all you can do is restart the game----like i did
