Magic Lamp crash bug
OK, I just discovered that the Magic Lamp artifact has the same crash bug as the amon hotep helmet. I apparently missed that tidbit when it was originally discovered.
So anyway, in my current game, I gave someone the order to summon the djinni, and the game now crashes if I host it, or if I try to change the order.
Gah! Is there any known way to work around this without needing to restart my turn? I'm in the late game period and had spent over an hour and a half on planning this turn, which includes storming 4 castles, massive troop reorganizations, and all sorts of ritual and summon spells. I *really* *really* don't want to have to redo this turn over.

You could avoid redoing the turn by starting the game over.

Yikes! Cainefleet! Just kidding. I wuv you Cainehill!
Um but seriously, a related question:
Under 2.13, is it highly recommended that one then resist all temptations to construct the Magic Lamp and abandon all plans which involves doing so? (Painful for me in one current undergoing MP game; I am shortly before being able to make it, and doing so plays quite a role in my plans. Should I make new plans quickly? Or try to research Wish ASAP and wish for "patch"? (<--- anyone tried that??))

Wish for patch might work. It shouldn't be many days before the new patch arrives.
