Default I\'m not quite dead yet!

Just played a season (well, a half-season) of the new demo and I am really liking it. Great additions all around. I will most certainly be ordering this product.

On two occasions, one of my fights ended on my warrior's injury, or so it said in the fight description. However, when I went to the warrior screen, the warrior was deleted. In the first case, I check the daily highlights and it indeed noted that my warrior was killed. In the second instance, no notice was present...instead listing one of the generic "It was a hard fought match" Messages. Not certain if it should have been an injury and the death was a bug, or if the message during the battle incorrectly stated what was really happening.

I just played through a full season and never saw this "Bug", so it must be something odd or rare. In the combat, it said the warrior was injured, but he actually died (his name and stats were cleared)?

I'll take a look at the game code and see if if there's a problem just in case though. Even I make mistakes once in a long while.

Glad you're enjoying the game, and thank you for your support and comments!

Yes, it absolutely said both times that my warrior was injured and the fight was ended. It certainly did not say he died.

The first time it happened was immediately after I changed my battle strategy. The round after I changed it to aggressive, the fight ended. The second time it just happened in the middle of the fight.

Hope that helps.

Oh, I should add that the first time it happened, I had the Enchantment that added +30 to a random warrior's stats while increasing his change for death. The enchantment wore off by the time it happened the second time.

Found it: Just a text bug. I was referencing the wrong set of texts in combat for your own deaths. It should be fixed now.

I'm even going ahead and taking the opportunity to add a variety of more graphic death texts to the game, at many user's requests (didn't know people were so keen on that sort of thing! ), but I guess it fits in with the mood, and since Shrapnel doesn't participate in the Ratings system, it's easier to get away with.
