Default PBEM. Best app for sending turns out

I've seen the pbem helper which looks quite a good app but downside is you have to persuade all your buddies to have it installed.

Any other ones people would recommend?

I don't really think there is any. I'm planning to write some procmail filters (for incoming) and perl scripts (for outgoing) to help with running a PBeM on a unix platform; but haven't found the time yet.

OK I thought i'd check pbem helper out.

Looks like I was wrong, the people receiving turns don't need pbm helper as you can choose in what format (pbm/zip or not touched) each file is sent.

Its a very neat app.

Should also add that it knows the status of your turns, so the two pbem games i'm currently playing are both showing waiting. When I save the new turns in (as they don't use pbm) it will change to play. Do the turn and the status changes to send.
