Default Fires of banes and Fires of faith

1. I was quite surprised to see that undead are not immune to banefire/decay. In fact, my longdead archers massacred my banes (the ones you recruit from a site) by firing into the fray. Is this supposed to work this way? I thought I finally found a safe combination of archery and infantry.... But this makes them extremelly dangerous for my own troops in fact, even more so than the regular archers. What units would be good to combine with them then?

2. I am currently fighting Fires of faith Marignon, and their dominion went up to (-)21, even though I took over a province some time ago. How high can it go? And I thought that it needs priests to go that high, since there are no "inquistion offices" in my provinces I thought that the bonus would be nullified once I take them over, but it just keeps on growing? Fortunatelly they don't have an immortal pretender, or I would never be able to get rid of them...

I think the undead archer arrows cause regular damage + banefire damage. What "banes" can you recruit from a site?

The site is called "The Bowl of the Lost" and you can recruit Banes who are not commanders. I was just surprised to see that banes are not immune to banefire, since they give the name to the effect and all.

Yes, they have a dominion strength of 21, and they don't even own the province. I guess I won't be preaching them out after all....

i must test that. Imagine the power of your god or prophet in such dominions!

wow dominions 21 ? Is it what you wrote?

I would say put meatshield (soulless & skeletons) before your archers and dont use Banes or only as BG for your mages, but the idea is not exactly optimal.
