No. There is a reason those scenes were cut.

(sorry it's a pet peeve of mine that I can't go get some movies as originaly shown. I can only get the 'directors cut' with an extra half hour of crap in it)

Your statement is true, except for the first movie. That is still an excellant movie; I just wished the studios had treated the sequels with more respect, instead of just throwing them out there. The series was good also. Wish I had the money to buy the dvd sets.
Yea Narf is so unbelievable wrong here I just had to say something. The Highlandar is IMO on of the best 10 movies ever made. (the sequels and tv series I have no opinion on.)

Edit: Oops sorry. I see Narf agrees the first movie was good.

I'll agree with that. Another one that should be added to that list, and is in league with the original subject of this thread, is Blade Runner. Unfortunately, I can't find the original Version on dvd. All you can find is the one without the voice-over. I wish they'd made a set that included both Versions.

Okay this threat has completely lost its goal (questions about a Matrix DVD box), but that's alright.

Another groovy movie: Pulp Fiction.
It's IMO one of the best movies ever made.
And for fun go and watch The living dead serie. That was one of the most entertaining "horror" serie I've seen.
Also Hellraiser is one of my most beloved DVD sets. I really like Pinhead and "The Doctor". Not all the movies are good, but most of them are just cool to watch.
Horror and Sci fi is a great combo. That brings me to Event Horizon. Another cool movie. I don't remember the best oneliner from the movie, but I believe it was something like "libertate me ex infernus".

Since this has turned into a movie thread I will post about one I rented Last night: Masked and Anonymous. This was by far the worst movie I have ever seen. I can't believe I sat through the whole thing. At the end of the movie it left me wondering what the whole plot was about and what the point of the movie really was. You'd think with John Goodman, Penelope(sp) Cruz, Jeff Bridges, Luke Wilson and Bob Dylan it would be a half way decent movie. But it was an complete and utter waste of my time.

I read something about that once. The way I understand it the Harrison Ford voice-over was added to the release Version of the movie over the strenuous objections of the director. But the way the contracts are written, the dvd release is typically pretty much under the directors complete control so he can do what he wants with it. In this case he saw it as a chance to "restore" what was his original vision for the movie.
