I am not a web page designer, but even I hated the old look of the AST Mod site. I took a quick lesson in MS FP, and made a new http://astmod.com web page. I hope it meets with everyones expectations.

OBTW, over 800 hits since the site opened, thanks.

The links should be a different color than the table border. They kind of blend together.

"Fryon Forums" should be "Fyron's Imperial Forums", if you really want my name in the link. I do think it should say "Kazharii Imperial Forums" instead though.

Also, it should link to http://galileo.spaceports.com/~kazha..._redirect.html and not what it links to now (that, and the current link has 2 r's instead of 2 i's in kazharii).

Hey thanks for all of the suggestions and feedback. I have never gotten so much email about one subject before.

I am very busy, but I am still working on this mod. I am not in competition with the Star Trek Mod, and although I appreciate the comments, I just wanted everyone to know that the AST mod is a SEIV mod that is based on star trek, but still uses mostly SEIV game components and such. From what I have gathered about the Star Trek Mod by Captain Kwok and his ever-faithful side kick Lord Atrocities, is that the Star Trek Mod is going to be a DEDICATED Star Trek mod with Star Trek content from ships through technology.

The two mods are as different as night and day, with the AST mod being there for folks who enjoy the way SEIV is set up and want to use the extra ships and SEIV technology. The Star Trek Mod will be for those people who love Star Trek, and want to immerse themselves in a Star Trek galaxy that a heavily modded mod of SEIV can provide.

So thanks for the comments, and I hope this clears things up.

As for the future of the AST mod, I have a few ideas for it, but mainly just tweaks and bug fixes. Atrocities is in the process of re-doing many of his Star Trek ship sets, and it is my hope that he will allow me to use them in the up coming 1.8 Version patch.

Here is the patch thus far:

1.8 (Pending)
1. Corrected spelling of Tri-cobalt Torpedo
2. Added restriction of Two per vehicle for Tri-cobalt Torpedo
3. Changed damage type of Tri-cobalt Torpedo from Quad Damage to Shields to Normal
4. Increased reload time for Tri-cobalt Torpedo from 2 to 3
5. Changed description of Tri-Cobalt Torpedo (Thank You Rick)
6. Added Defiant Mount to CompEnhament.txt for use with the Federation Destroyer (Defiant)
7. Changed weapon type for Transphasic Torpedo from 2003, to 2889
8. Changed weapon type for Tri-Cobalt Torpedo from 2003 to 2998
9. Removed Solar Sail mount from CompEnancements.txt
10. Changed restriction of One Per Vehicle for Ablative Armor I - III to Two Per Vehicle
11. Updated the AI_Default_Research.txt so that the AI will hopefully now research better weapons.
12. Changed Family Number of Romulan Naval Academy from 32 to 302 to prevent upgrade conflict issue.
13. Added additional Design Names to the DesignNames Folder

Also keep coming to the http://astmod.com web site for updates and other info.
