Incorrect sides vs US army in Europe

A ‘bug’ I’ve noticed. When making a battle with US army in Europe, certain opponents cause the US army to start on the ‘east’ (right-hand) side.

Example: US Army vs USSR : US west, USSR east.

But

US Army vs East Germany: US east, East Germany west side

Same for US army vs Poland, Czechoslovakia even generic Red.

Any way to fix that??
