Multiplayer Woes

For the last 90 minutes or so have been trying to get a multiplayer game going with no luck.

When I join the game I am able to enter the (name country password) info but once actually in the game I own no territory or no units. My country is displayed and the buy screens are availible but there's no where to place anything.

This is a serious setback.

If I try to host a game, when pressing the create button I get an error about address not availible,unable to bind socket.
