Seasonal effects

I was looking for a chart or a description of seasonal effects in game (including contingent factors, like how a Dominion's streght can overrule them).

I found scattered references to them in the Wiki, but not in the manual. If I missed them (the book, after all, is thick

) just point me to the page.
