Default Spell modding II

I have been trying to devise a spell that spreads 1 candle.


What I have tried so far, is creating a unit that spreads dominion, and making him aquatic, and only allowing him to be cast on land.

That all works. I had *hoped* that the drowning phase (autodrown) would occur after dominion spread.

Well it beats me. It turns out dominion stays at 0 in the province in which I cast the spell. Perhaps death of a dominion spread has unintended consequences?

So, my next approach was to give him 1 hp, and a disease is there a way to give him disease? Hmmm I suppose I could equip him with a leper rod.

More elegant solutions welcome.
