Random question about non-water nation water PD

So I've been playing LA Mictlan and they are really easy to get into the ocean but became curious what units I'd actually get for ocean PD. Either in it's in the manual and I haven't found it yet or it's not there

Does it matter for the nation? It seemed I got some Atlantis-type units but that may just be from LA Mictlan being kind of a mix of Atlantis anyway.
