Quick UI Q - increasing battle speed?

As a new player I like to watch most of my battles to learn what's going on. I do get quite frustrated though at how slow things move - seems a fire bolt takes forever to make its way to the enemy. I couldn't find an option to increase the speed of the battle display, does one exist?
