Ship/Race files query

I have the basic SEIV a la 1.49 patch. I have no mods.

Is there any way I can move the ship picture files around so that, for example, the Piundon ships are placed with the Terran race portrait?

PS I am a computer idiot so will need chapter on verse on how to do this if it is possible
