New patch 1.49 question

In tactical combat, I can no longer see the range to the enemy. Also, I have to hit "end turn" twice a lot in tactical combat to finish a turn. I am a relative newb (8th game) and wondering if I just don�t have an option turned on. Thanks! Patch 1.49.
