Heavy APCs armour ratings in WinSPMBT
I must share with you some doubts about protection levels of heavy APCs like Israeli Puma, Achzarit and Russian BTR-T, BMPT. Theoretically all these vehicles should possess armour protection similiar to the current MBTs. Unfortunately in WinSPMBT's OOBs I found they have about 100-300 mm Steel armour and 300-700 mm HEAT armour at frontal arc! It seems rather odd to me because of their overall weight, lack of tank turrent and many metric tons of additional armour packages.
If someone has some real calculations of heavy APCs armour, I am a very interested on it!
