The Wild SPMBT Team has been quite prolific of late in scenario production. I guess you can see that. I appreciate very much your responses to our efforts. The testers make all the difference. They catch those things that might spoil the battle for you.
I'm very grateful to Tom DeShelter, Fabio Prado and Lars Remmen. Stephen Porter, while with us, did a great job too.
But some of the testers have now become designers. I've encouraged them to do it and they are coming along well.
Both Fabio and Tom are doing scenarios and Lars is considering the same.
What that means is that I need one or two more to join our team for testing.
Now before you do that, let me outline what testers do here.
1. It requires 2-4 hours a week.
2. If for some reason one week you can't make it, write me and advise me and there is no problem. We all have a life to live outside of gaming.
3. Testing involves a careful reading of the text, a good look at the map, review of units picked and your overall evaluation of the scenario, both good and bad.
4. It does not require a great deal of experience. My biggest need is for dependability. I'll be counting on you.
5. No play (I'm working for free too!)but you will be contributing to the gaming community, you will get your name in the text file as a tester and you'll have my deepest gratitude. Plus you'll work with some very nice guys. It is work, but it is fun.
