The War in 2010 MBX is currently looking for a few good men to join in the battle of good and evil and generally cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war. The MBX has been ongoing, however recent "loses" have raised the need for a few new experienced ground commanders. For more information:

Hosted by Bill Jennings, the large-scale MBX (Mail Battle Exercise) features a future conflict in South West Asia and models air, sea and ground combat as well as intelligence, supply and virtually everything else you can imagine. A variety of gaming platforms are used, including Harpoon and TacOps, although currently WinSPMT is not used that might well change for sub-tactical combat.
Currently we are seeking to fill a number of ground command positions for both RED and BLUE teams. Those interested should preferably have in-depth knowledge of RL ground force deployments as well as tactics & technology. Tacops experience is also highly preferred, however 80% of the game involves emailed orders to umpires, therefore familiarity with RL standard operations procedure is a must. Also, the MBX requires some commitment - one recent large-scale MBX (Rikki Tikki's acclaimed Global Thunder series) involved dozens of players for over three years and generated thousends of pages of documentation.
While the game has already started, the major developments are yet to occur. We also welcome 'lurkers' to support the 'world community' (UN), so have a look at the link and experience wargaming on an epic scale.
