Create fleet leads to computer crash?
Has anyone else out there had this problem: Last night, I had a problem wherein when I hit Create fleet the game and my computer both hung, hard. Computer had to be rebooted. It was reproducible, at the same spot every time. I could move on to the next fleet if I deleted (or merged) some other fleets. For every fleet slot I opened up in this manner, I was able to create another fleet, but then hung after going beyond that limit. Eventually I was able to do my turn by merging every single fleet I could find other than the ones I was moving at the time. Note, in total, I had maybe 20-30 fleets. Certainly not the maximum. BUT, the next-to-Last fleet I created was always named ' Fleet' (in other words, it lacked the Alpha-Zeta naming scheme entirely). Final note: this was in the AnkleBiter game maybe for some reason its local to that game or that mod?
So, it seems pretty clear to me that the fleet naming scheme does have an upper bound, and when that bound is breached, the game has some overflow (or similar) problems.
Has anyone else out there had similar problems?
