Ok here it is......!, After a lot of tinkering and frusteration I have a 'beta' of a shipset I am now placing in the shipset section of the mods area. They are called the Y'Gathian Free States, my own personal race I use for Play By Web and for my own fun. They are a combined Crystal/Organic race (a first I believe). I made them up myself more for 'roleplaying' value than 'eyecandy' value as I am NOT a graphic artist/master programmer. Thank you to everyone who answered a question of mine, your answers helped ALOT
. The shipset itself is a stock Neutral shipset combined with a modified Cryslonite shipset, all changes were made with MS-Paint (as Moray continues to elude me
). AI files were concieved by studying the TDM-Modpack, Q's new Phong AI files and my own observations after changing values and seeing what happens with the Original SEIV AI's.
This race is part of a 'Universe Concept' that I am working on, something to add more 'personality' and 'history' to the game. A scenario will be later released with 'new' races added. I also hope to post a storyline about all the races, as well as a few familiar ones.
