Two new (?) bugs
I found two more bugs in the demo recently:
1. A global enchantment (Eyes of God) remained active after the nation that cast it (Pythium) was vanquished (by loss of provinces). I don't know whether the god cast it or someone else, but in either case, when the nation was vanquished, all their troops that weren't already dead should have been eliminated, right? So the caster (whoever it was) would have to have been killed at some point.
This may be related to the second bug:
2. The Pythian pretender (a Golden Naga) had Ritual of Returning active when I stormed their capitol. As soon as she took damage, she vanished (and of course couldn't return anywhere, because with the pretender gone from the field, I easily won the battle).
Maybe this is the intended behavior, but I don't think Ritual of Returning should trigger if the battle is taking place in the caster's capitol.
If the god was the caster of Eyes of God, it may be that elimination due to failed Ritual of Returning didn't trigger all the things that are normally done on death (such as dispelling globals and domes cast by the deceased). If so you may also want to check other unusual ways of dying (Wrath of God, Beckoning, sites with banishment effects, for example).
Of course it could be something completely different, too. But I hope this helps.
