Gentlemen,
FYI, the first part of the ANZAC Campaign v 1.0 is ready and you may find it here:
ANZAC Campaign Thread
I will give you a brief description of what is the ANZAC Campaign:
Quote:
ANZAC (and Allies) vs Axis
28 October 1940 - May 1941 (first part of ANZAC Campaign)
Theatres of Operations included in the first part of the ANZAC Campaign:
Epirus
Greece
Crete (Greece)
Missions included in the first part of the ANZAC Campaign (total of 68 scenarios):
16 Battle missions
10 Path-selection missions
Campaign Difficulty (based on the Adjustable Difficulty Mechanism): Advanced level and Elite level.
|
Bottom line:
For playing 16 battle missions, the interactive campaign mechanism is using 68 scenarios and the campaign will become harder as long as you emerge victorious.
Each scenario uses up to 250 waypoint marks for predefining the movement of all AI units, something which will prove to be a very bad experience...for your troops
Also prepare to play some new missions like "escort the crew" to the abandoned vehicles or guns, "destroy the convoy" before it gets out of the battle-map and "run for your life" before the AI kicks your...LOL
You will also find out how important is the good use of the terrain, as you will be able to make use of tall buildings with great LOS over them, impassable (from vehicles) buildings, but most importantly you will find out that you can't use effectively your tanks for fighting on mountains (the mountain battlefield will considerably restrict the movement of vehicles to mountain trails ** the mountain battles begin from the 2nd chapter Platamon).
Enjoy,
Pyros Lambert
