Hmm... I've got this strange idea for a mod, tell me what you think.
What if... we can mod the game to represent your ship as a fleet instead of just a single ship..
and that the components can be modded to represent individual ships(or at least one aspect of a battle group).
The only problem is that you can't choose a formation.. unless each ship class itself is a formation... but then you'll need to "purchase" a formation everytime you want to change..now won't you? doesn't seem logical.
I got this idea after playing Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu 4 again... in that game you don't control individual ships.. but fleets.
Anyone got anymore ideas or if this can actually be done?
