Re: old file
Just so long as you don't share or link to the "Russo German" thing on these forums.
We had our issues with the developers of that mod way back in the day, cant recall the details. But its not welcome here.

Re: old file
Hi.
Too late to edit my original post, so here is a new one. A link that works:
http://www.filefactory.com/file/2f4co5g9nart/spww2.zip
It contains the spww2v2.07 install, and the v2.2b update. I managed to get a running install. I think you must have a SP2 or SP3-CD in your computer when installing and when playing.
Halstein.

Re: old file
Hmm seems to be that I must raise hand up ... I have tried many many times to get Dosbox to identify my cdrom drive but no success. I have windows 7 and because that I can't get that 2.07 version be updated into 2.2b... Any help? Or should I just forget whole thing?

Re: old file
To install the v2.2b update, I had to type the path manually in the installer. I can't help you with Dosbox or Win7, as I use XP. My PC went "bang" about a month ago, and I had to cannibalize a power-supply from an old work computer. The XP-box I have, was bought with an eye to playing DOS-games, because this was before the days of WinSPWW2.
I have a working SP1, and man, have the game gone a long way!

Re: old file
I finally found this old topic again . Well, I had HD crash recently and all my SP games were lost ... I have reinstalled almost all SP's back into new HD. But I have some things what I miss:
1. Dos SPWW2 v.2.2b (with or without Russo-German edition, no matter when it works )
2. Viet War Pack for dos SPMBT v.3.1
3. SP2WW2
(4. working SP2 v.1.1, I have only v.1.0 which works, I don't know why I can't get 1.0 be updated into 1.1 any way)
Could anyone upload even 1 of these somewhere? I would appreciate and be very thankful!
Thanks in advance,
Warhero

Re: old file
Btw, why this topic is not shown as "active" (bold title) in this forum?

Re: old file
Sorry, I can't help with this anymore, as I no longer can find these files on my present computer. My old computer died, and I managed to save about 90% of it's content, but unfortunately no SP-content.

Bold means unread (with new comments) rather than "active" - so if you have been here and read it, then it will not appear as bold to you.
