Question Running game in widescreen

Hello,

I'm wanting to make a Let's Play series of the game for my YouTube Channel (Das24680) and have been trying to find the optimum settings.

It all works well except for the way the GUI stretches if the screen is widened beyond the 4:3 format. Ideally I'd be wanting the game to play without any GUI stretching at 1280x720.

I haven't tested the sound settings thoroughly yet either but noticed there isn't a slider. I can't remember exactly what I did when I made the videos for CoE3 but I think I had to change my recording software to not record in-game sound and just rely on the sound it picked up from speakers. Not ideal.

Thanks in advance and I hope someone can help with this one.

I don't know the answer to your question but it is impressive to see a vet with such a long history pop in. Welcome back.

Generally the best results is to choose one of the standard settings BUT you can also specify exactly what you want.

Here is the list of switches that the game supports
http://www.dom3minions.com/docs/CommandLine.txt

And here is a thread which covers some fun uses of those, and how to create desktop icons for the settings you want

Thanks.
The commandline switches get me the correct resolution but still stretch the UI.
Can't test the music and sound switches just yet but they look ideal.

Hi all,

Here is the play list on YouTube. The switches work a treat.
