Default Small friendly coop team game

I posted this in the WinSPMBT Opponents Wanted section but figured there may be an interest using WinSPWW2.

Was thinking about a friendly little coop team game vs the AI (or maybe a live OPFOR opponent if I get a volunteer to play that part). It would not be a 1 man per unit game like this thread originally intended but a small team per player format. Think The Rat Patrol but for WinSPMBT. Each player will command a light recce vehicle and the crew/passenger. Probably about a 4-6 man scout size unit. Each turn the scenario files will pass from player to player while they use their unit with the team commander going last to "End" the turn. More details to follow, probably in its own thread.

I would be up for that I think. Can do 1 turn/day most of the time maybe more or a little less. But I would be up for winspww2 version

If I do a WW2 game will probably be limited in encounters to NOT seeing any tanks, after all, its winSPWW2 not TV.

Will probably require about 10-15 minutes of each players time, maybe 1-2 times week depending on the number of players.

The game files will be transferred between players by attaching it to a main thread after you have competed their portion of the turn. That way the next guy grabs it, plays his part and replies, attaching the newly saved files with the team commander grabbing it last and posting for the the OPFOR guy (or me to process if using vs the AI) to do his part.

Each player will be allowed to post a 100 word reply with the attachment that will represent their radio traffic to the other players on what they saw, engaged, did during their part of the turn, etc. No other PM'ing and email allowed.

Sounds good but I don't own mbt and don't plan on buying it anytime soon. I have the free version but playing it is not fun to play on my netbook after I have played the cd version(higher resolution) of ww2

We can do a WW2 game. I'll have to work a different storyline than I originally intended but it's still very doable. Will just need another volunteer or 2.

Hey DD!

Have a question,. if only 2 human players and no CO,who decides where arty (if any)should be used?
It could be a tug of war if one player decides to shift fire to help his forces when they have already been plotted

I'll leave it to you to concider
