Does CBM fix the issue I read about with burden of time affecting undead units? Speaking of which, can the effects of Burden of Time be cancelled out by wearing boots of eternal youth?

The BoT effect with diseased undead units isn't really fixable, so no. And no the BoT effect overpowers the boots.

If you ever plan to play multiplayer it's probably worth it to get used to CBM.

Also UnitGen mods will be somewhat flawed without since it uses the CBM warhorse hoof and might use other things in the future (http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/showthread.php?t=48341 SHAMELESS ADVERTISING!)

It really isn't that much of a problem. Just imagine the disease being bone rot, and carry on.

(And no, probably not, it is one of the many minor issues. And the game has been patched for a extremely long time already. Which is great work by Illwinter.).
