As a reminder to all, please enable your forum PMs for the shrapnel forums (as it makes diplomacy a heckuva lot easier and quicker to conduct; and which is essential to score graph off games [diplomacy is how you help gauge world events, and both real and perceived power levels]). Alright, decided on Riverlands as the map for this game. There's a number of lakes connected by rivers (so a water nation has great strategic mobility), which also help strategic mobility for sailing nation. There's a moderate deal of medium population plains coupled with strategic forests and mountains, and numerous strategic chokepoints.

Just an overview for those of you who haven't used the map before (neither have I).

Alright, a couple questions. First, would everyone want to wait for another player, or do you guys want to lock it in here?

Second, how do you do these start point fixings? Riverlands is a pretty fun map, but I would like to make sure the starts are evenly spaced (or someone can help me do it! )

Since the original Riverlands map has a number of phantom provinces and false connections, the base map will be utilizing this revised version.
