"long game" option
Would it be possible to have a game option to increase game lenghts by a factor? Maybe +25% or so.
It would be nice to have set in campaigns, similar to other "preference" options, such as "AI tank heavy" and whatnot.
I know it's possible to change in game, but it'd be nice to have it be available in an easier to find location and to have it enabled for every game.
If it's impractical or there's reasons not to, then I understand

Re: "long game" option
It's not impossible. And actually may be a rather good idea, e.g. for those who prefer leg infantry type games.
If you like leg infantry games, then you can e.g. change the default map to say 80 wide, to reduce the time to objectives. (As I tend to do if my core is based on a leg battalion).
I'll think about an INI file addition - either as a %age, or as an absolute number (i.e. 1.25 for 125%, or as 10 for always add 10 to the generated turns ).
That would allow end users a bit more tune-ability, along with the map size.

yeah, that would be very nice. I like it to be still randomly generated, just with a longer option.

Re: "long game" option
I have narrower ,in left-right direction, maps in SPWW2 compared to SPMBT set as standard. 6 or 7 turns before contact is a bit boring. I use mostly an Inf Bn as core in SPWW2. In SPMBT I buy more "Task Force" style forces.
In the pre-battle map-editor you can set the gamelength. Not sure about campaigns.
