That's weird.. I just see blank space, but when I click the 'quote' button, the [IMG] code appears. I'll try it on another computer.

Just blank space with me, in Firefox. (with adblock plus and noscript add-ons. Examining those don't seem to have any shrapnel-forum related exclusions. - Sometimes for e.g. newspaper sites with comments, one has to figure out which of the blocked links is advertising trash, and which is the comment thread on the article and manually unblock that one)

In Internet Exploder some white squares with x's in them appear. However, nothing happens if I right click and select "show picture" from the context menu.

Well that is very odd.

I tried deleting my browser histoy thinking perhaps the orginal image was saved on my HD so was showing up when I logged on but I just checked again and all the images are still there. As an experiment I renamed the originals I have on my HD then deleted my browser history again and they still show up when I view those posts.

Maybe I need to log off first. I'll try that later

I'm running Firefox as well, with popups enabled, no adblocks.

I have renamed the originals on my HD to ensure the images I was seeing weren't somehow being picked up from my HD when I was viewing them and I have deleted my browsing history twice to ensure it wasn't an archived image that was being displayed and I have rebooted and they still show up fine to me in the original post and when I click on the images and run the URL they also appear so I guess the question is does anybody BUT be see these images ? I'll wait and see who replies then probably repost tomorrow

Can't see them either.

Clicking on the links gives me a vBulletin message:
"Invalid Attachment specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator"
