Ring of Sorcery bug?

In a game with Marignon I just forged a Ring of Sorcery. It should grant +1 in all paths of magic. In fact, it only grants pluses in Astral, Death and Blood magic, but not in Fire, Air and Earth. I have no Nature magician so I don't know how that path fares.

Is this a bug? Did you notice the same problem?

It grants +1 in all paths of sorcery. Blood, astral, death and nature.

The ring of wizardry grants +1 in all paths of magic (except holy, I think. Never put it on a holy mage)

Air, Water, Fire, and Earth are considered "Elemental", which is separate from "sorcery."
