message from the server
in one of my games i got a message from host saying that one of the nations got "an unexplainable increase in wealth". what can cause this besides cheating? its on llamaserver, CBM 1.83, no other mods.

Re: message from the server
I've seen it one AAR, but I forget what caused it exactly. The player wasn't cheating however.
IIRC it was something like a unit recruitment which couldn't go through for some reason (unrest jacked up during the magic phase perhaps ?), and so the player had his gold returned to him on top of his regular income which caused the game to spaz out and spout that message. I'll try to find the AAR again for more details.

I think failing to win a merc contract might be able to cause this as well, for similar reasons.
Anyway, unexplained wealth increases happen. Since no one has figured out how to hack .2h files in dom3 yet, its usually the cheat detection being overzealous.

Re: message from the server
It might be caused by differences in mods between the host and the player. If the mod the player uses have a different price for units than the mod used by the server. Both mods must have the same name for this to work I think.

It's called it on me, I perfectly well know I wasn't cheating.

Re: message from the server
I've heard that mass alchemy of gems to gold can sometimes trigger this message.

Re: message from the server
Found that AAR again. Apparently the guy had filled out a recruitment queue far beyond the resource capacity of his castle for some reason. On the next turn he decided he needed the gold after all and cancelled the queue, which the game interpreted as having pulled gold out of a hat.
So yeah, the cheat detection can wonk out, I wouldn't worry overly much about it unless it happens to the same person multiple times or something. If you're really concerned the guy might be really cheating however you might ask him to send his last and current turn file to a third party who's not in the game for a check.

Re: message from the server
I believe topping out a recruitment queue is usually for when you have negative income but positive gold reserve (say from luck event) which they don't want to spend in the current turn, they "park" the gold in recruitment to avoid upkeep.

Re: message from the server
Wouldn't that make some of your units disband though ?
