Question regardin AI ship repair

Hi,

First of all thanks for a fantastic game! This game is an absolute gem - the interface and graphics are illustrative of what can be achieved when a designer really focuses on creating a graphical interface that allows the player to just focus on strategy.

One thing I'm wondering, however, is whether the AI is repairing its ships. I've seen a number of American carriers continue to show up with damage that appears to have been caused many months earlier. I wonder if you could check to see whether the AI is repairing its ships.

I have seen the same thing for the Japanese AI as well.

The AI will repair ships, but it will also continue to use damaged ones in service if it things it needs them and they're still at least semi-capable.

But I'll take a look and make sure the repair logic is working as intended.

It should only attempt to repair in ports that are beyond the range of raids. I often catch AI ships under repair with my carriers after a major surface engagement.
