How to show images from forum attachments
I'm testing to figure out how to upload pictures directly into a post. Can anyone shed some light on the process, please?
Thanks ahead!

Re: Test
You have to link to a hosted picture (above is from Shrapnel's D3 site, which I hadn't seen until just now).

Re: Test
Yes, that's the idea now if I could just get from post A to post B, I'd be set...

Re: Test
So what does a "hosted picture" mean? It doesn't seem to work from albums.

Re: Test
Ok, I think I figured it out, or atleast I'm on the right track.

Re: Test
Some switch is definitely turned off for me-before I was always able to view Sombre's images inside of a post, but that's not happening. Maybe the links are still broken? Anyway, I'm clueless about putting images inside of posts, for now.

Re: Test
Richard has been working on the links this evening, so you can expect some weirdness in the meantime.

Re: Test
HB,
I see that you were successful in getting your image uploaded to the picture album. All you need to do now is copy the image tag that it provides into your post. You can get the tag by clicking on your image in the album. It will open a page that contains two boxes near the bottom of the page. One box has just the link to the stored image, and the other includes the link surrounded by "IMG" tags. Just copy the tagged link and paste it into your post where you would like the image to appear. You can also just retrieve the link from the image properties via a right click menu and add the "IMG" tags yourself. Whichever is easier for you.
This code:
HTML Code:
[IMG]http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/picture.php?albumid=7&pictureid=50[/IMG]
Result:
Hope this helps!
