My favorite race is MA Pangaea.

Though I have not played them lately. I like the nature theme, the signature pretender(Gorgon), stealth, high hps, high mr, great pd.

I like the tie to blood for late game ownage. Petrify, Earth attacks are also 2 great spells. Bloodstones.

Late age was a simpler choice though, because of my RPG-playing style: defense is the best defense. Ulm! I only wish they'd get a team-specific spell that raises magic defense on top of their evil armor class ^^ I also hope future patches will grant us the ability to build mines to raise resource production by spending gold : /
Iron Will works very well!

You can already raise resources spending gold, Dectilon. Just take 1 less order scale and 1 more production at the same cost It seems the game works perfectly as intended in letting your smiths, miners and lumberjacks produce a maximum total of resources per month in a certain region. If you want more resources, you have to design your entire society with much more production... just imagine the state gives gold to smiths to have many apprendices and bigger forges, to lumberjacks for better axes and to miners for safer mines but it must be done from the beginning ^^

EA Abysa is just my favourite. Burning ones and all that fire magic and also a good nation for making a powerful pretender (Moloch being my favourite).

LA Ulm is also a very interesting nation thematically, but I find it hard to play with.

No matter how many times I try to get into playing other races, I just keep coming back over and over again to LA Agartha. Mages that can be given a death bless, are able to teleport with a few boosters, and scripted to cast earthquake are the best ever, and that feeling you get when you find a magic site that lowers the cost of conjuration or enchantment is just awesome. Also Tomb Oracles are so ridiculously amazing. If the nation had some way of getting enough blood magic to mass produce bloodstones, they would be perfect.

LA Agartha can get bloodstones with some work. 3 provinces (5000+ population) with 6 scouts (because they're cheap) in each province, all blood-hunting, taxes at 0%. If you're lucky you'll get maybe 0-20 blood slaves per turn. Then you empower up to Blood-2 on a necromancer and cast Forge of the Ancients to let you make bloodstones; otherwise you have to empower up to Blood-3 or use a Ring of Sorcery or a unique.

If you like LA Agartha you will like Ashdod too. Less fire magic than Agartha but more Death and better at Earthquake (because they have more HP) and Bone Grinding (which is out of reach for Agartha + a bad idea w/ low HP). No Tomb Oracles or Umbrals but some other neat stuff.
