Default Petrification

A few more petrification questions:

What else besides Gargoyles is a "Stone Being" (immune to Stone Sword petrification as of 3.10)?

Are "Stone Beings" also immune to Medusa and Aegis petrification, or the Petrify spell?

Why aren't (blind) Blindlords and Bats, etc, immune to Medusa and Aegis petrification? It seems they should be, from the Medusa and Aegis descriptions.

Thoughtcrime was not a thing that could be concealed forever.

Until 3.14 nothing was immune to the stone sword, as it performed a magic resist check. If you had high mr, you could resist its effect. Now any stone being and any blind being is immune, and I think target units with high mr(over 15) will still resist petrification most of the time-but not always.

Not sure if all lifeless units are immune or not. ie is a golem immune? Not sure. it is easy to test though. I have only tested with a gargoyle, and it is immune.

Not sure, but seems like crushers and living statues likely are as well.

JK said stone being is a hidden tag. So any unit he gave the tag to is immune. To be safe you test the units before you gor and give them the stone sword in a real game. What you may think is stone, and what actually ended up with the tag, may be 2 different things.
