Default Quickness and Reinvigoration

I don't know where the manual descriptions of the bless effects are. I believe I've seen them in the book before but I can't find them and the table of contents and index leave a bit to be desired.

I think I read somewhere that the Quickness for a water 9 bless is only half as good as that for a water 10. The water 10 gives blessed units an extra combat move every turn of battle, whereas the water 9 only gives them a boost every other turn. Correct?

I've never been quite clear on how reinvigoration works. As a consequence I've tended to overlook it. I'm assuming that quickened units will get tired out 1.5 times or twice as fast as normal, depending on their water bless, correct? If so, it seems that reinvig would be a good combo for it.

Assuming that a leader has a melee encumbrance value of 5 and is wearing an item of reinvig 2. Does that mean that he only gains 3 fatigue each attack, instead of 5?

Once he goes over 100 fatigue and stops attacking, how fast will he recover? An extra 2 fatigue per turn of unconsciouness, or some multiplier? I guess this last example would work better with a mage, since he's more likely to shoot higher over 100 due to some big spell.

Thanks for your help guys! -Ubercat

Reinvigoration does not reduce the fatigue-per-action, it just removes that much per turn. So an enc 5 unit will get 5 fatigue per attack, regardless of reinvigoration.

I've never heard that W10 gves twice as much quickness as W9 and really doubt it.

eh, the spell quickness gives x2 the moves and attacks, but the level 9 water bless only gives x1.5. Nothing special about water 10, it gives another point of defence and costs a ton.

Hmmm... does anyone know how much fatigue is normally reduced by per turn, and what factors (other than reinvig) affect it?

IIRC none is reduced per turn normally(although this may only be when units are acting) and 5 or so is reduced per turn when over 100.

The battlefield spell relief reduces a certain amount per turn too.

so, I've got a question as well.

If I have quickness - so 2x the actions, 2x the fatigue, this generally means that action per turn items are 2x as well, correct? Stone bird, flying trident thingy, etc.

If I have a re-invig item, does that fire off twice as well? It would only make sense really, and would make giving mages with reinvig items quickness more worthwhile.

Yes the stone bird and such will go twice, just as other weapons do. I think spells cast from items(skullface raise skeletons and such) also benefit from quickness.

No, I don't think reinvigoration fires off twice with quickness.

I don't think they do either, which is kind of a bummer.

Here's a slightly related question I have, since people have mentioned the extra attacks of quickness.

Quickness aside, suppose you have a unit with four attacks, maybe a Kraken with all his tentacles. In combat, does he pick one enemy troop and have to use all four attacks against it? What if his first attack kills it, Does he pick another unit and use his remaining attacks against it till it too dies and then move on? Basically, is it possible for our Kraken to kill four enemies in one turn, or even eight with quickness?

As far as I understand, each unit can only target attack on one square. So if he has 20 attacks, he can still only attack one square and kill up to 6 units, AOE effect not withstanding.

Further each attack, like hydra attack that may hit multiple times, only affect one target.
