Serious LA pangaea bug?
LA Pangaea's national holy spells seem to be buggy. I've only had the chance to test out Quick Roots so far, but I've looked carefully and I cannot find any effect whatsoever it's having on my manikins!
The caster behaves as if the target has been affected; it doesn't try to recast QR on the same target anymore. But the target's stats seem to be totally unchanged.
Have I missed something? Can others verify this lack of functionality? Are the other higher-level LA Pan blesses also buggy? (It'll take me some time to test them myself, but I wanted to report this now.)

Re: Serious LA pangaea bug?
I have seen this with EA Pangaea also when playing the recent Middle Way multi.

Re: Serious LA pangaea bug?
After further testing, it appears that Regrowth does work properly.

Re: Serious LA pangaea bug?
Im guessing its another dangling feature from when there were unholy priests. When that got taken out of the game there seems to be many units that have partially working holy abilities and partially working unholy abilities. As we come across them we probably need to let Kristoffer know so he can "redesign" that unit abit.

Re: Serious LA pangaea bug?
I've posted on his encouragement thread, but hopefully this will also make it onto Edi's buglist.
Further testing says:
-Puppet Mastery doesn't work.
-Mend the Dead doesn't seem to work, but I'm not 100% confident that I could tell accurately.
-I don't plan to put in the effort to check Carrion Growth, given that Regrowth works.

Re: Serious LA pangaea bug?
AFAIK,
Quick Roots works like the item "Boots of Long Strides", which do not show up in the units stats either - they reduce the Action Points used up for moving to the next square (IIRC it's 2 -> 1 but I might be wrong here).

That matches what the manual says.

Bah, you're right. That's what I get for playing on my laptop without the manual at hand... "quickens" (as in the in-game spell description) can mean a wide variety of things (+AP, +def, +atk, etc), and I assumed it would here mean something that could be seen in the stats block. Guess not.
