World New Map - AomOrc 3.01

This is a quick conversion of my Dom2 map over to Dom3. Really the biggest change is the utilization of the transparency made possible by converting it to the rgb format.

Disclaimer:
I am not sure how it will act if you use the random nation selection feature since there are only 2 valid starts for water nations and it sounds like the random assignment does not take this into account.

11/11/2007 - Updated to 3.01
Removed stray pixel & renumbered map file to accommodate.

If you find any missing neighbors or mislabeled provinces, please let me know. Enjoy.

Very cool map. I like the border colors. Im trying to get Dom3 to do that.

Dominions 3 supports transparency in TGA files. You just need to make a TGA format picture that has transparency in it.

I have not tried it with tga files. I took my existing tga map and converted it to rgb with GIMP. Then I removed the parts that I did not want to show simply by erasing them.

I currently have a couple of other projects in the pipe playing with the transparency as well. I think some really interesting maps can be done this way. Looking forward to seeing what people with real talent (Jason!) can do with it.
