Ordinance bug?
I have a fleet with 3 supply ships. They were parked at a planet, so I did Transfer cargo and filled them up with ordinance (the fleet screen showed ordinance was now full). I have a ship join the fleet and now all those supply ships have no ordinace (each had 850). The planet doesn't seem to have gotten them back. The ships I added only have room for 500 total. Where did my ordinance go?

Re: Ordinance bug?
As far as I can tell, the game is filling up the lower-ordinence (and maybe supply, haven't checked) ships without checking to see if they are full. Then the "extra" that was loaded in gets dropped and the process repeats.

Re: Ordinance bug?
I just moved the fleet to a planet with 8k ord, when I got there it showed I was full (4500/4500), I hit the turn button... next turn I am back to not having any of my supply ships filled (1900/4500).

Re: Ordinance bug?
I just loaded my small freighters up with 850 ord a pience (I have 3). They showed full, I moved them off the planet and toward a warp point. Next turn all the freighters have 0 ord. Going to be hard to fight a war with no ammo.

Re: Ordinance bug?
I moved the freighters to their own fleet, they are getting ord fine now. However I cannot get my missile frigates to keep any ord, they are dropping down to 0 every turn.

Re: Ordinance bug?
Where can this bug report be sent, or have one you sent it already?

Re: Ordinance bug?
Sent it in. Hopefully they find it, as I can't really play much until it is fixed.

Re: Ordinance bug?
I sent in a save game too. Did you send a save game?
Some have reported that if you don't create a fleet, it isn't a problem. Just select all ships together, they stay together. You don't get fleet experience, but thats the only downside while we wait for a patch, iirc.

Re: Ordinance bug?
Yah, quite a bit of problems with fleets. In my case when i started fighting with them they actually *flew away* from the enemy ships, even though the strategy was set to 'Optimal firing range', as were all the ships' strategies. Stopped using fleets after that.
