Re: New Shipset! The Nosral Confederacy!
No, it should be: "Theirs is ...". "Theirs" is always a possessive form - there is no apostrophe.

Re: New Shipset! The Nosral Confederacy!
Very nice shipset! I like the "Evil Phong" theme!
The Worldship is nice and imaginitive (not a ball).
The CarrierSmall image is not showing up as "Light Carrier" in viewer2.2.htm. I'm not sure if that's a bug in the shipset filenames, or in the HTM viewer.
Corvette looks like it might be larger than the Frigate (backwards).
Critiques:
* The Light Crusier, Cruiser, and Heavy Cruiser look more to me like fighter shapes than capital ship shapes. Conversely, the fighters look more to me like ship shapes. This is kind of counter-intuitive and so either interesting or tempting to swap them, depending on one's tastes.
* The infantry image looks non-organic and taken literally, much larger than the smaller vehicle troops. And there's only one of him in an infantry unit. How about making an image with a group of smaller ones?

Re: New Shipset! The Nosral Confederacy!
I'm happy you like the set PvK. I think I'll take your suggestion with the corvette/frigate issue, switching them should solve things.
I think I'll leave the LC/CR/HC as they are. It's kind of tempting to switch things around, but I also like them as they are.
I never was really happy with the infantry image, as the name implies it should be biological not mechanical. I can't do humanoid (Nosraloid!) pictures at all, so it kinda sucks as it is. However, you're right that it is far too large in comparison with the others, and I think I'll change it from a single large image to multiple smaller ones, as you suggested. It should look better.
I'll also take a look at the Light Carrier to see if I've made an error in the filenames, which is the most likely issue.
Thanks a lot for pointing out the issues you've seen, I should have time to fix all of them tonight and upload another new version. Think Fyron's going to get a little annoyed with me, new version every couple days Guess I'll have to stop making errors!

Re: New Shipset! The Nosral Confederacy!
Here's a bit of an idea that might work as a kind of " temporary " solution.
I'd come across a kind of Phong infantryman, and maybe with a little recoloring he might work out as a Nosral one ???

Re: New Shipset! The Nosral Confederacy!
Thanks a lot for the suggestion Black Knyght, but I think I'll have to stick with the one I have. I usually prefer in my shipsets to use only images I've created myself where possible, and even if my infantryman looks a little goofy (which it definitly does!) I think I'll keep him. But thanks again!
Attached to this post will be version 1.2 of the Nosral. All errors that have been posted should have been fixed, including spelling errors and a rather stupid mistake I made naming the Light Carrier that made it not show up in game. The infantry pictures have also been redone, and I think they look marginally better, though not of the quality I'd like. Oh well. Can't have it all
Enjoy! A new version should be up on SE.net soon as well, if my constant release of new fixes hasn't driven Fyron up a wall already I'm hoping to upload to PBW as well in a few days, provided new errors are not encountered.
Thanks to everyone for the feedback provided thus far, it is most valuable!

It takes less than 2 minutes to update, you know. You are not in any danger of annoying me, so please continue with fixes as they become necessary.

Re: New Shipset! The Nosral Confederacy!
I figured that might be the case, but thought I'd toss the idea out there anyway. Still a nice set, all-in-all

Lol! That's the Phong infantry from the neo-expansion pack. I love what you've done with him. You're welcome to use it if you want it Renegade, but I fully understand your desire to use only your own images. I feel the same about my stuff.
To improve the troop, I suggest building a 3D model, rendering it and then touching up the details with a 2D pixel-pusher (something like Paintshop Pro). I'm perfect proof that you don't need any great skills as a 2D artist, just patience and experimentation with the effects. Take a look at the attached zip for an example.
