Re: server is down
Just so you know boron stealthily played his turn. I continue to make stupid mistakes(casting dome of solid air and immediately crashing it with my own spell.
And I put too few airgems on my airqueen, I somehow missed that the cost of wrathful skies was raised from 2 to 4, so Boron still has his lich queen and demiliches alive. I managed to put etimmu to his eternal rest though.
And borons and Jeffrs invasion partys meant that my poor pretender had to fight jeffrs party alone and he was no match for the moloch. Well at least the cross makes him more famous.
Marignon broke my monopoly on the global buisness. Im not sure is intentionally overriding a global a declaration of war? Well I dont need the firegems anyway.
I killed quite a few of pangeaes wolves though, but with the soulstone that doesnt really matter.

Re: server is down
I attacked him, and then Whollaborg attacked him, and then Boron threw a few hundred undead at him just for fun. It's tough to fight off three people, especially when you're Black Forest Ulm.

Re: server is down
Well, I have a feeling that his BF Ulm is much, much more effective than mine in the S.O.L., where I am Boron's little pet.

Re: server is down
Hey! I'm not dead yet, you buggers! ...but, I did kind of lose heart when I couldn't even bring that lousy Ygorl down (hey, are we gonna finish that 1x1 now that you're back? ). Still, I've been fighting for dear life for two thirds of the game or so, mainly because my assailants suck Why don't you put me out of my misery already, you cruel, cruel people?
I don't even have scouts that could watch the proceedings when Turin crushes you all, so there's not even that joy left for me

Re: server is down
Yeah, I'll get that game running again one day soon. I'm pretty busy lately though (three weeks absence seems to bring that, always), and it might be a bit before things settle down to the point where I can increase my Dominions load beyond the games that will host without me if I don't play...

Re: server is down
Well i personally wouldn't mind ending this game and declaring Turin winner. I don't think that we can stop him but with CB lategame lasts forever because CB fixed many imbalances. But the more balanced dominions is the longer the lategame lasts.
I love CB but it's suited best for Blitzes. Probably i won't play longterm games anymore only special scenario games like Artifacts game and blitzes .
So subjectively i vote for declaring Turin winner

Re: server is down
its not that it is better suited for blitzes, but that people refuse to set reasonable victory conditions

Re: server is down
Well, we still haven't ganged up on him yet. So far, it's been only Boron and myself, although I think that the others may join in soon. It's probable that Turin can take us all, but shouldn't we see?
In order to combat the drag, maybe we should put this game back on a hosting schedule (48 hour?) and only turn off the hosting schedule if someone requests it? That would speed up the game alot. The first 30 turns or so were very fast paced and interesting
What does everyone think?

Re: server is down
Sounds good to me. I'm not at all convinced that Turin has the game wrapped up, anyway. Though, sometimes I'm rather blindly optimistic...
