Re: OT- Star Wars Episode II Title Released
'Attack of the Clones'??? UGH!!!, could they get any LESS dramatic (come on, even something like 'Dawn of the Clone Wars', or some such sounds better)...Sounds like a bad re-tread of the SpiderMan comic a few years ago with the 'Clone Saga'...Hopefully the movie will be better, the Last one was good, but TOO much Jar Jar. Supposidly he is in this one but only a little while.
Looking forward to this and the new Trek series and movie.

Re: OT- Star Wars Episode II Title Released
I agree that the new title sounds pretty bad. However, I remember when Episode 6 was officially going to be called "Revenge of the Jedi" only to be changed to "Return of the Jedi" before release. Hopefully history can repeat itself and we'll get something like "The Clone Wars."

So much for the "Clone Wars" title.

Re: OT- Star Wars Episode II Title Released
The title is secondary. The important question is: Will the movie be Jar-Jar free?

No, the Binks Man is in the movie. A movie mind you that is visually important, story not important. (George Lucas quote)

Sounds more like attack of the killer tomatoes. Whats wrong with the Clone Wars. Makes more sense. Or Dark Force Rising. Or Ascension. Or Return of the Sith. Anything but Attack of the Clones. AAAaaaaaahhhh!

Re: OT- Star Wars Episode II Title Released
Am I the only one who though JarJar was funny?
Agree about the title, though. Sounds like a B movie from the '50s.
Speaking of movies to look forward to, how about "The Lord of the Rings"?

Worth going to see, but what's the betting they introduce some kind of cute, annoying JarJar kiddie interest character to fk it all up. Perhaps they'll turn Smaug into a friendly little dog-sized dragon who does ute little tricks...

Hopefully not, the producer is apparently a BIG fan of Tolkien, so I hope he is 'true' to the book and does NOT add things (and keeps Gollum ugly!), apparently this will be a trilogy movie (ie, 3books, 3movies), ISTR....
That and waiting for the 'Apes' sequel...the new one rocks!!
And heres hoping Bakula will be good on Enterprise.......
