Maybe the fat fins could be split at the top in a V shape or something... It is hard to describe why they look odd, they just do.

Because fins imply speed, which is incongrous with the concept of a reactor. Or at least, that's my guess.

Well, I guess I could modify the main fins a bit to give them a forked appearance. I'll do that as soon as I get home.
Good idea to do that, I hope it will look cool on the reactor.

Okay, how about this?
I shortend the struts to the smaller reactors and I gave the main fins the spiky look. Personaly I think it's a very cool.

Well, the rear spheres are still a bit too large... but the main problem was the odd looking "fins." So yes, it is mostly good now.  |
