Auto ritual hotkey?
Is there a way to automatically cast ritual spells every turn without reselecting it every time?

Re: Auto ritual hotkey?
Note that the auto-ritual will be desactivated should you lack the gems to cast the ritual *before* doing anything else during the turn.
Likewise, changing the items of a commander will disrupt her ritual, whether monthly or not; the same goes for looking at the items you can forge.

Of course, changing the items on a commander will also disrupt their research, and bring them out of hiding, which is something of a pita.

Re: Auto ritual hotkey?
Odd that; while rituals and forgings should be disrupted by changing items, I see no such reasoning for stealth and research. No item can enable hiding or research, although the efficiency of the latter may be affected by items (still, the game likely checks research points later on, for mages that might have been killed because of events, or similar annoyances).

Re: Auto ritual hotkey?
There is also the fact that if you're casting targeted spells the monthly ritual hotkey is useless, because it will always cast the spell at the same province. Therefore e.g. the radar spells (haruspex, auspex, augury etc) have to be always cast by hand. The autorituals are only good for summoning things like banes, wights, seasonal spirits and so on.

Re: Auto ritual hotkey?
IIRC there is no distinction between special orders. All special orders are disrupted when items are changed. It has nothing to do with stealth or research, nor anyting to do with user frienlieness

Re: Auto ritual hotkey?
How does shift-M work? Do you first select the ritual and then hold the mouse over the unit icon and press shift-M, or what?

Press Shift-M, then select your ritual.

Re: Auto ritual hotkey?
You must have the mage highlighted in white before hitting shift-M.
