Default Changing name of a mothballed ship

I don't know if this has been changed in the full Version, but in the demo you can't change the name of a mothballed ship. That doesn't make much sense really, and I'd hate to spend a few thousand minerals to bring a ship out of mothball just to change its name.

LOL!

I was actually trying to rename my ships for "administrative purpose". I have a new system for keeping track of what's in each fleet, and the only thing user-changable is, of cause, the ships' names. So Dracus, here's your shuttle ticket to s8384-2434.

I think it's the same in the full Version. It is kind of strange.

Not really,
Think about it. You would not change the name of a ship that has been decommisioned(taken out of service) Mothballing in the game is along the same lines. A mothballed ship is out of service therefore would not be renamed.
